Make a Pisco Sour Cocktail
Pisco Sour, one of our absolute favorites here at Cascada Cocina & Bar in Marbella.
This cocktail literally takes less than 3 minutes to make, and tastes positively divine! So let’s get stuck in!
- Pisco Spirit
- Egg white
- Fresh lime
- Sugar syrup
- Angostura bitter
How to make this cocktail:
To start off we fill a cocktail shaker with some ice cubes. It’s ok to practice your ice throwing skills at this point, no one’s judging!
Once your shaker is full (and you have picked up the dropped cubes off the floor!) you can add a nice big splash of Pisco Spirit. 100 ml should do it, but if you like it strong, just add a little more. Don’t be shy!
Now take the lime, cut it in half and squeeze the life out of it. Or rather, the juice… Add this juice to the shaker.
Now you add the egg white of 1 egg and a dash of sugar syrup.
Time to shake this mixture as best you can. Try to look sexy whilst doing this, trust us, it will be worth it.
Once you have shook it to an inch of its life, take a strainer and pour the mixture without the ice cubes in a cocktail glass. (martini glass would be nice, but is not a must).
Now to top it off, put a few drops of Angostura Bitter. (seriously a FEW! you don’t want to fall off your chair after one sip!).
And that’s it! See how easy that was!? Now put your feet up, sit yourself down on the terrace and enjoy this masterpiece you just created.
